Our Musical Theatre classes include musical theatre dance, singing, character and script work. Students work on projection and clarity in speaking and singing, learning technique to ensure these elements are strong whilst moving and dancing. They work on a variety of musical numbers and scenes from different genres of theatre; traditional musicals and current and future shows. Throughout the year students have the opportunity to work with costume, puppetry, masks and props, with opportunities to work as an ensemble and take on some solo parts (if they would like to!). Students are also able to be involved in performances and to take examinations!
